Games Haven UK maintains a zero-tolerance stance toward all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to conducting our business ethically and with integrity, ensuring that our operations and relationships reflect the highest standards of fairness and respect for human rights. We will implement, maintain, and enforce robust systems and controls designed to prevent modern slavery from occurring anywhere within our business activities or supply chains. We recognise and accept our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and we are committed to taking all necessary steps to prevent slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking in any form.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships. We will implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our operations or supply chains.

We acknowledge our duty under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 to prevent slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking.

3. Responsibilities

3.1 Senior Management Responsibility

  • Ultimate responsibility for the prevention of modern slavery lies with senior management.

  • Robert Powell is the designated Compliance Lead and will oversee all enforcement activities.

3.2 Employee Responsibility

  • Every individual working for or with Games Haven UK must prevent, detect, and report concerns of slavery or human trafficking.

5. Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

We carry out regular risk assessments of:

  • Suppliers in higher-risk sectors.

  • Labour providers and recruitment agencies.

  • Service contracts with third parties.

Due diligence includes:

  • Verifying supplier practices.

  • Seeking compliance confirmations.

  • Reject any supplier unable to demonstrate anti-slavery practices.

7. Reporting Modern Slavery Concerns

Anyone who suspects or identifies instances of modern slavery must report their concerns immediately.

  • Understanding Games Haven UK’s responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act.

Training is reviewed and refreshed annually.

8. Breach of Policy

Any breach of this policy by an employee will lead to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal for gross misconduct.
Suppliers or business partners found to be engaging in slavery or trafficking will face termination of contracts and legal reporting where required.
